Week of 7/20 Wrap Up and Sunday Sneak Peak

How was your week? It was pretty quiet here, so this wrap up will likely be fairly short. I spent most of the week plottin’ and schemin’ about new projects. Two projects in particular… a dresser for my bedroom and a farm stand.

I desperately need a new dresser for my bedroom, but due to the odd angles of the room I’ve yet to come up with a solution. I made a few sketches this week, so I’m one tiny step closer to having a new dresser.

The second project is a farm stand. Ever since I saw this project, I wanted to build it, but didn’t really have a use for it. Years ago I had a farm stand that I built and sold extra produce from my garden. It looked remarkably good considering it was made from two hollow core bi-fold closet doors, a wire rack and beadboard. I’m thinking of building a new one and I think I might base my new farm stand on this plan.
