Double Header Wrap Up and Sunday Sneak Peek

Welcome to a double shot wrap up for the week of August 10th and the week of August 17th. I wish I had a better excuse for not writing last weekend, but the truth is, I was enjoying the summer weather. I’m sure you can understand 🙂

Let me first tell you about www.todoist.com. It’s a free list making app. I love lists and I love this app! I’ve only been using it for a few weeks, but I have definitely become more productive during that time. It’s great for organizing my projects, breaking down each step, keeping track of what photos I need for a project and more.  Oh, and I have no affiliation with them… just wanted to pass on that it’s a great tool.

I forgot to tell you the top projects for July. Here it goes… the third most popular project was Coffee Container Tiki Statues, the second was How to: Build an Outdoor Beverage Table with a Surprise and the number one project was… How to: Make No Miter Cut Picture Frames! Please send me a pic if you’ve made any of these projects. I’d love to share it in an upcoming Wrap Up.

Speaking of projects, did you see the newest project? It’s a tutorial for How to: Make a Repurposed Basement Window Cabinet. Have you ever made any projects with a recycled window? Send me the details, I always love hearing about new projects.

Before I reveal the sneak peek, here’s a pic of some delicious stuffed tomatoes I made with veggies from my garden. Homegrown veggies are the best. If you like veggies and gardening, I bet you’re gonna like the sneak peak project!

I feel like a lazy bum. I haven’t been in my workshop for days. I haven’t been in my yard all weekend. My neighbors probably think I’ve perished! I’ve been dealing with a nasty summertime plague. I’ll spare you the snotty details, but I will tell you that I never get sick. It’s not fun to be under the weather when the weather is so beautiful. I’m on the mend… hope to be in the workshop and in the yard very soon.

Here’s the Sunday Sneak Peek. Plans for it will be posted this week. Stay tuned…
