DIY 3-Tier Plant Stand (Sketch & Specs)

This simple plant stand was inspired by one my aunt and I spotted on a road trip. It was painted red, with rounded corners and gently worn edges.

The sides are made from three boards, cut to length and edge glued together. You can build it using pocket holes or dowels, but with a few small tweaks, you could upgrade the joinery to mortise and tenon.

The original didn’t have an “X” brace, but I added one for style and a bit of extra stability. Again, you could attach it with pocket holes or dowels, but for more strength, a half-lap joint locks everything together more securely.
