My favorite thrift store never disappoints — it’s inspired so many of my projects. This time, I came across a Shaker-inspired medicine cabinet.
The piece was made in Indonesia and looked handcrafted. It had three pegs under the shelf, probably for towels, but I left those off in my version.
I designed this project to be easy to build with pocket hole joinery or dowels, but with a few small tweaks, you could take it a step further and make it with mortise and tenon joinery instead.
To make laying out the curved detail at the bottom easier, I’ve included a template.
