More Printed Plans, Two Big Announcements and a Tues-DIY Teaser
Hello there lumber lovers! February is just flying by. This past weekend was the “big game” and this weekend is Valentine’s Day. Do you need last minute gift? How about my tablet holder? It can be made in an evening and it’s getting lots of love on Pinterest. It’s one of my most pinned projects. So not only will it be made with love, but you know the person you’re giving it to will love it!
Apothecary Cabinet Printed Plan
The Apothecary Cabinet was the number 8 most popular project in the Saws on Skates Top 10 Countdown of 2015. Today I’ve added a printed plan for this project. Click here to download the PDF of the Apothecary Cabinet Plan.
Big Announcement #1
About a month and half ago I saw a short blurb in an email from Hometalk. The blurb said “Maryann at Domestically Speaking is looking for new contributors for 2016” with a link to submit your blog for consideration. I thought “I’ll give it a shot” and submitted my blog. Well, guess what? Maryann chose me to be one of the five contributors to Domestically Speaking’s 2016 Creative Team! I’m so excited for this opportunity!
Domestically Speaking is everything DIY, crafts, recipes, printables and more. I’ll be contributing six easy DIY projects over the course of this year. My first project will be featured in March. Oh, don’t worry… I’ll still be here at Saws on Skates sharing free project plans and advice about working in a small workshop. I’ll let you know when my project debuts in March 🙂
Big Announcement #2
I’m soooo excited! My Coffee Container Tiki Statues are getting some West Coast love! Check out this tiki feature in the San Francisco Globe!
Tues-DIY Teaser
Here’s a teaser for a “How to” tutorial that will be shared tomorrow for Workshop Wednes-DIY. Tomorrow I’ll be showing how to set up and make pocket holes with a Kreg Jig. Be sure to tune in tomorrow!
Congrats on becoming part of the Domestically Speaking creative team! Love your blog! Always has helpful info for people like me who are just starting to get their feet wet in the DIY pond so to speak. lol
Thank you Sherry! I’m glad you’re here… I hope to be sharing more helpful info soon 🙂
